Department of Vocational Education
Plans, organizes, implements, controls, and evaluates all the seven (7) programmes at the Bachelor of Vocational Education (ISMPV) level for 7 areas namely general machining, building construction, catering, welding and metal fabrication, electrical and electronics, creative multimedia and refrigeration and air conditioning.
The objectives of the department are:
- To provide opportunities for those who are qualified to pursue professional learning in the field of Technical and Vocational Education.
- To provide quality and innovative teaching programmes as well as to meet the needs of the market and customers while supporting the National development policy in the transformation of Technical and Vocational Education.
- To make the Department of Vocational Education an excellent organization that can ensure effective and efficient management of human resources and property to achieve the educational goals of FPTV and UTHM and to play a role as a catalyst for community development.
